If the above steps do not work, you may need to change your settings/preferences to allow applications/apps/programs from known/ identified developers.

Mac users:

3. Drag the program file (flexiwrite….app) to your applications folder.

4. Launch the program from the applications folder or launchpad.

To install FlexiWriteTM on Linux please see your OS’s documentation.

To use a non-install version of FlexiWriteTM, (or macOS version without installing it) (collectively non-installed copy):

1. Extract or open the .zip or .dmg as described in each step 1 above.

2. Open and read the README file,

3. Drag the program (.exe, .app etc) file to the location you want to keep it, e.g. your Documents folder or a memory pen.

4. Double click the application in that location each time you want to use it.

If FlexiWrite will not run on a particular machine, you may need a different version, for example a 32 bit version instead of 64 bit.

Note that when using a non-installed copy, certain features may not work fully: for example you may not be able to set a default dictionary, and you may have to add your Pro licence key at the start of every session, if you have one.
